SILK'N'STEEL

Introducing a new duo to the Bay of Plenty music scene. Silk'n'Steel features Marty"Stratman" Mitchell on guitar and vocals and Melissa Vanderspek on vocals. Marty and Melissa are both veterans of the local music scene and bring a wealth of experience and ass kicking talent to the stage! Melissa has played in many different covers and originals bands over the last 25 + years and has co-run a few jam nights around the BOP in that time. Melissa plays multiple instruments but her real love is singing! After a break away from playing in covers bands to focus on her original songs, Melissa is enjoying being back on the stage playing all the songs that everyone knows and loves! There is nothing like seeing people having a great time dancing and singing along with you!
